By accessing, browsing this site or registering for and attending the 2025 ACSP Conference, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Registration and Payment
2.1 Registration
All conference registrations are to be made through the registration page on this site. Upon completion of the registration, you will receive a confirmation email with an invoice attached. Registration is only confirmed upon receipt of payment in full.
2.2 Payment
All registrations are required to be paid in full, via direct deposit, within 14 days from the date of registration. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse access to any registrant who has not paid the full registration fee in accordance with these payment terms.

3. Conference Program and Changes
3.1 Program Modifications
We reserve the right to modify the conference program, speakers, and schedule without notice. We will make every effort to inform delegates of any significant changes as soon as possible.
3.2 Postponement or Cancellation
We reserve the right to postpone, cancel, or reschedule the conference in case of unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation, the organisers’ liability is limited to the refund of registration fees paid. No further claims for compensation will be considered.
4. Code of Conduct
4.1 Delegate Conduct
All delegates are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times during the conference. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
4.2 Removal from the Conference
We reserve the right to remove any attendee who violates the Code of Conduct without refund or reimbursement.
5. Intellectual Property and Media
5.1 Ownership
All materials provided on the site and at the conference, including logos, presentations, written materials, and digital content, are the intellectual property of ACSP or its licensors. Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution of these materials is strictly prohibited.
5.2 Photography and Video
By attending the conference, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded. We may use these materials for promotional purposes without compensation to delegates.
6. Liability and Indemnity
6.1 Disclaimer
The site and services are provided on an "as is" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties or representations regarding the reliability, availability, or completeness of the site or conference program.
6.1 Personal Property
The organisers will not be liable for the loss or damage of personal property brought to the conference venue.
6.2 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under NSW law, ACSP and its affiliates, officers, employees or contractors will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with your use of the site or participation in the conference.
While every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the safety of participants, the organisers accept no liability for personal injuries, death, loss, or damage to property during the event unless caused by the organisers’ gross negligence.
6.3 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ACSP, its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, your use of the site, or your participation in the conference.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
7.1 Data Collection
We collect personal data from registrants to process event registrations and provide information about the event. This data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
7.2 Third-party Sharing
We may share your information with third-party providers as necessary to deliver the Services. All third-party providers comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
8.1 Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your participation in the conference will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
8.2 Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the site, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally through negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it may be submitted to mediation in New South Wales, Australia. If mediation fails, the dispute may be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
9. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time without notice. Any changes will be posted on the site and will become effective upon posting. Your continued use of the site or services after any changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
